Overview

The Moving Rural Health Care Forward Convening Dinner will bring rural clinicians, administrators and academic physician partners together for an evening of celebration, dialogue and collaboration.

Through guided table discussions and a keynote presentation, participants will explore emerging challenges in rural health care and identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships that improve access to high-quality care in rural communities.

The Fluno Center offers a welcoming environment for collaboration and conversation in the heart of the University of Wisconsin campus.

Lodging

Complimentary overnight lodging is available for rural physicians traveling from outside the Madison area.

  • Rural physicians: Book a room at the Fluno Center. A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation. Overnight lodging and parking costs will be covered by the Orion Initiative. Reservations must be made by September 16, 2026.

A discounted room block is available at the DoubleTree by Hilton Madison Downtown for rural hospital administrators, rural EMS directors and other attendees traveling from outside the Madison area.
